• I am at work reading last week's issue of the Herald Ledger online and I'm so happy! We love our little house on Lake Barkley and miss it when we are not there. The e-edition of the paper is a nice connection to the town and area when we are away. I think the little mini of the paper on the left margin is great because I can quickly scan through the entire paper first then I go back and read the stories that interest me. • This ad over the internet was the most impressive advertisement that I have seen. I have a slow connection and it worked well. Some Ad's try to send the entire store on one page and it takes too long to get the 100 pictures so i delete them . Keep this type of stuff up. We are all not hooked to a T-1 line. We have decided that it is more cost effective to update our interactive editions multiple times per year than to print our 1700 page catalog more than once per year. More frequent publishing of the interactive editions allows us to present new products and new vendors in a timely manner. Our interactive editions have links to our e-commerce web site and we are able to track inbound activity from the interactive catalogs. This appears to be a long haul commitment to achieve a satisfactory ROI, and while progress is slow it is making strides in the right direction.
